Functionality Revealed

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

What is Love? What does it mean to be a 'good' Father, Husband, Mother, Brother, Friend, Boss, Student, Teacher, Son e.t.c? If God is our father what does that mean?

For far too long, we have tried to understand the relationships we are meant to have with God through our human relationships, through other people's experiences in their human relationships, through our own experiences and so on.

The bible shows in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that it should be the other way round. When we experience God's way of relationship, it gives us the knowledge,  experience and understanding of how we should function in our earthly relationships. God comforts us in all tribulation so that we can be ABLE to comfort those in trouble. Hallelujah! The bible is full of example of how this works?

We liken the relationship that we (the bride of Christ) have with Jesus to the one we have with our spouse but in the bible Jesus Christ likens marriage to his relationship with the church.

Ephesians 5:25

New King James Version (NKJV)
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her

What does this mean? What is the difference?
Jesus is saying, Love the way I love you. You are not expected to discover what love is on your own then apply it to your relationship with God. No...
WE NEED TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE AND COPY THE WAY HE LOVES IN THE WAY WE LOVE OTHERS

Our relationship with God is INFINITELY more intricate and valuable than any earthly relationship, even marriage (Col 3:15 - 4:1), that means this is not just for husbands and wives. When we understand and experience God in the fullness of a relationship with him, then we can learn from experience, what it means to be a:

- Husband: Jesus is the bridegroom (Matthew 9:15)
- Friend: God called us friend (Luke 12:4, James 4:4)
- Brother: We are co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8: 17)
- Father: We cry out Abba father (Romans 8:15)
- Teacher&Comforter: The Holy spirit is our teacher and comforter (Luke 12:12
- Pastor and Priest: Jesus is our high priest  (Hebrews 4:15)
- Master:  God is our Lord (The whole bible)
- Advocate: Jesus advocates on our behalf (1John2:1)
- Intercessor: The Holy spirit intercedes on our behalf  (Romans 8:26-27)
- Son of God: Jesus showed us what it means during his time on earth

God is the first husband, father, brother, pastor, intercessor, teacher etc, all the manuals and commandments in the world cannot replace the enablement that comes from experiencing him in all these roles. We would know what is expected of us when we read a passage like this one below if we can relate because we have experienced God playing all these roles in his relationship with us. No other relationship can define our 'GOD-US' relationship. It is in fact in relating with God that we know how other relationships SHOULD work.

Colossians 3:15-4:1

New King James Version (NKJV)
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. 22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Jesus in speaking to people who had not yet experienced a personal relationship with God as a father, referred to the earthly relationship between a father and his son in order to show 'a shadow' of the 'God (father)-US(child)' relationship and he said.... "if you who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE...will your heavenly father give..."
Its okay to try and explain the relationship with God using earthly relationships but HOW MUCH MORE wonderful it would be to experience God in every way and let him enable us to be a better EVERYTHING (father,mother,brother,teacher,friend,husband...)

There is so much to say about this topic because it forms part of the basis of our lives. What does it mean to be in a relationship with God? What are the elements of a 'working relationship' with him? If we are not to use the indices provided by our earthly relationship to build our 'GOD-US' relationship then what is the key? There is more to our relationship with God than our minds can imagine and my next post will  highlight some of the keys the Holy spirit led me to in his word.

Halleluyah, I leave you with these beautiful words

1 Thessalonians 4:9-10

New King James Version (NKJV)

But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; 10 and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more;

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord God, You are awesome, wonderful and great. Your ways are pure and sincere. You are truly all I need and hope for. Heavenly father help me to live, move and breathe in you, to experience your love and relationship in every way so that I can function in my relationships the way you would have me do. Glory, honor and adoration be to you. Take all of me Lord. Make this word not just a part of my mind, but a part of my heart. Motivate me towards your ways. I realize there is more to my relationship with you than my mind can imagine. Make me hungry for more, FILL ME Lord In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

Are you hungry, or just starving?

 “Imagine a world without hunger!”

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

What do you think would happen? Some people see hunger as a bad thing but Matthew 5:6 tells us something else. The Holy spirit explained to me that in a world without hunger, everyone would die of malnutrition and starvation.
How? You might ask. The fact that you are not hungry does not mean your body is not in need. Hunger comes with inconvenience, it comes with pain sometimes. It makes one unsatisfied with what is available and gives us the drive to go for more. Matthew 5:6 gives us a guarantee that if we hunger and thirst after righteousness we will be filled.

So here is my question for today. Have you eaten today? Not your body. I mean your spirit. When last did you feed your spirit. The fact that you don’t feel hungry does not mean you are well fed. Remember something important about hunger, It is PERPETUAL. No matter how high the mountain of food you demolish it, you can be sure that hunger will return after some hours.

Hunger is a blessing, it motivates. An anorexic is a person who is malnourished and yet he/she doesn’t feel hunger, he/she is dying but comfortable.

Today is an encouragement and a reminder to get hungry.
Hungry for more of God,
Hungry to be used by him
Hungry to achieve great works
Hungry to know God more

Why do we need to be hungry?

2 Peter 1:3
as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

Because we will be filled.
2Peter 1:3 tells us that God has given us ALL we need to have a good life and to be godly. But how do we access it, how do we access the ALL THINGS? We access them through the knowledge of Christ, through building a relationship with God. Like any other relationship, there are things we need to do to build that relationship. Things we need to do if we want to feel the hunger and get filled.
If you have ever felt unhappy with your spiritual life, if you have ever felt pressed that you need to achieve more, if you have sleepless nights asking God to use you for something great. YOU ARE RIGHT.
Keep at it, keep feeding the real you and God’s assurance to you is that. You will be filled.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Fill me cup Lord. Fill me, use me, make me hungry for you and help me not to be so eager to be comfortable that I disconnect myself from the hunger pangs of my spirit.

 Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

More to see

I saw this in the Smith Wigglesworth Devotional for yesterday and it was wonderful to see that it shed even more light on the wonderful message the Holy spirit showed us in James 1:9-10 which I discussed in Monday's post
God Bless
----------------------------------------------------------------
Yielding to God’s Plan
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
-2 Corinthians 1:5
1 Corinthians 12: 12-27

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into[a] one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole werehearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentableparts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

Chastening provokes or bestows upon us fruits unto holiness. It is in the hard places      where we see no help that we cry out to God. He delivers us so that we can help the tempted. It was said of Jesus that He was “in all points tempted as we are” (Heb. 4:15). Where did He receive strength to comfort us? It was at the end of “vehement cries and tears” (Heb. 5:7), when the angel came just in time and ministered and saved Him from death. Now He can send angels to us. When? Just when we are about to go straight down. At such times in the past, did He not stretch out to us a helping hand?

God takes us to a place of need, and before we are barely aware of it, we are full of consolation toward the needy. How? The suffering of Christ abound! The ministry of the Spirit abounds so often. It is a great blessing. We do not know our calling in the Spirit. It is so much greater than our appreciation of it. Then we speak a word in season (Isa. 50:4); here and there we minister, sowing beside all waters as the Holy Spirit directs our paths.

Paul and the people he ministered to cooperated with one another. Here is the value of testing: it results in a great flow of life from one to another. John Wesley woke up one day and became conscious of the need of one establishing another. In this way, he bore witness to the ministry of the Spirit, and multitudes were born again in his meetings when they heard the wonderful works of God. They heard stories and had consolations poured out to them by the revelation of the Spirit.

We are members of one another. When God’s breath is upon us and we are quickened by the Holy Spirit, we can pour into each other wonderful ministries of grace and helpfulness.

Thought for today: We need a strong ministry of consolation, not deterioration or living below our privileges.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Seeing that chastening is part of life makes me want to be more conscious to be a doer of the word so that I don't have to be chastened into learning. Either way lets thank God for grace because he is a restorer. He always restores what trials take away and he is always with us even in the midst of mighty flames.

Hallelujah

Bottomless You!

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

If I had to paint a picture to represent this scripture it would be a never ending box or never-ending room. What do I mean by that?

Can you remember watching one of those movies or a videos where they show about 20 people coming out of the back door of a small car, or where they show someone bringing out a large elephant out of a small box? Great! Then you know exactly what I’m talking about. The box, car or the wardrobe has its own dimensions and what it is able to carry or contain but it also has a characteristic that gives it a never ending capacity.

There are two of such occurrences in the bible. The first was in 1 Kings

1 Kings 17:12-16
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.

The second time this happened was in 2 Kings 4

2 Kings 4

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”
And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

Gods ability created a never-ending resource.

Matthew Chapter 4:4 tells us that apart from the part of us that lives by bread, there is a part of us that is sustained by the word of God. Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me.) tells us that, the part of us makes us ‘limitless / bottomless’ is not by our own strength, but by Christ who lives in us. Take this very literally. "You truly can achieve and do ALL things in Christ."

My question today is, are you tapping into your full ability?
Imagine driving a Ferrari on 20KM/Hour on race track, imagine a microwave oven being used only to heat up water, imagine an ipad being used only to write and store notes, and imagine you tapping into only your physical ability. With God’s word we feed the part of us that connects us to our limitless ability. We activate the portal that opens up into an endless world of possibilities.

The bible describes God’s word as a mirror. Think about a mirror, when you look into it, you can see yourself but also a whole new world that is as big as the one you are in but is sealed within the 1cm thick piece of glass. God’s doesn't make you do more than you can carry; it unlocks that portal, giving you access to God’s Ability, God’s Strength, God’s Direction, Unlimited Wisdom and Understanding, ZOE.

Do you have a dream, do you have a vision,
Does it seem bigger than you? Is it seemingly out of reach?
Tap into what you have available in God. He does not ask you to do things considering your power. He asked you to do things by his own power at work in you. Halleluyah

His indescribable, undisputable power and majesty will make the mountains you face today as nothing to you as you soar over them by his grace.

Have a wonderful Day.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord give me the confidence to walk on water if you ask me to knowing that I am sustained not only by the food I eat but by the power which I have access to in your word. Holy Spirit have your way in my life. When my heart feels overwhelmed please help me remember that I can handle all my responsibilities and tasks you assign to me by your power. Thank you Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen

Have you ever been a blessing?

Do you remember how you felt when your parents would beat you for something you just couldn’t understand was wrong, and how annoying it felt when they would say “It’s for your own good”

At some point we may have thought? “What is my good? What is best for me? What makes you the judge? You are just being wicked.”

When we were younger, many of us could swear that our parents enjoyed punishing us. Fast forward a few years and most of us are grateful that our parents didn’t let us get all we wanted, when we wanted and how we wanted. We are grateful for the discipline.

When I read James 1:9-10 it reminds me of those days.
Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.

I found this verse startling when I first read it. The question was why?  I can understand the poor man’s own what does the humiliation of the rich have to do with this? And once again I was asking some of the same questions we used to ask when we were young.

Have you ever asked yourself, what is the essence of suffering, why should I be happy when I am chastised, or when things are difficult?  found a part of the answer in James 1: 2-7

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

I have asked myself: Why would I need chastisement when I am a child of God being led by his spirit?

The whole essence of our experiences in life is to make us acceptable in God’s kingdom and one of the major things that can deprive us of this is pride. Trusting in ourselves and our abilities rather than trusting in God. Of the 7 things the Lord hates mentioned in Proverbs 6:16-19 ‘A proud look’ is number 1.
And God out of his love for us has made it his responsibility to chastise his children and make us who we need to be. So James said:
James 1:12Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Being corrected by God is a privilege, because if he allows us go with our natural tendencies then sin will have its way and lead us to death. Spiritual death.

Are you at risk of being proud? Think about this?

Have you ever been a blessing? Have you ever done anything right? Have you ever recorded unprecedented success? Have you ever had nothing to worry about? Has God done great works through you? Has someone ever told you “I don’t know where I would have been if not for you.”?

Then thank God for the days things didn’t go right. Thank God for the time you got stuck in traffic, you hit your foot against a stone. Thank him for the day you forgot your phone at home or you made a silly mistake in something you believed you could do even with your eyes closed because you are soooo good at it.
Compliments and success are good, achievements are great. But the things that make you remember that you are human and you are nothing without God are even better. What point is there to gain the whole world, get all the riches, the comforts, the accolades and something as little as self-righteousness makes you loose your crown.

Though the devil brings thing to attack and destroy us, God turns them around and uses them to preserve us because our human nature will lead us to pride if everything was at our fingertips. No matter how good you are at one thing you have a weakness somewhere else. That weakness is something that doesn’t allow you get all you would like to get on your own. Be grateful for those weaknesses, they protect you from pride. Even as a human race we have some weaknesses, like our inability to control time and space. The more we can do for ourselves the easier it is for us to give into pride.

The great thing is that a weakness doesn’t actually stop us from achieving anything. It just serves as a reminder to lean on God and when we lean on him we achieve greater heights than we could ever have imagined.

Weaknesses can sometimes cause humiliation, suffering or pain; they are not fun or easy most times.

Yet Paul said in Romans 8:18 1For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Paul suffered the same way 2 Corinthians 12: 5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Please don't skim over that scripture, read every word.

Weaknesses do not stop us from achieving great things; they are guarding us from the destruction that comes from pride. Look at the story of King Nebuchadnezzar, would it have been better for him if God didn’t bring him to his lowest self ? He could have continued in pride and gotten his punishment in hell. Instead he got a chance to repent because of the suffering. God chastised him out of love.

When we exalt ourselves, it may feel good, but it is actually the devil at work trying to make us enemies of God. The devil fell from being the most glorified angel because he had it all good, he had it all wonderful, he forgot who made him wonderful and thought it was his doing. It got so much to his head that he decided he wanted to become God. When God sees such tendencies in his children he immediately prunes them off so that we do not self-destructSee King Nebuchadnezzer transformation

Daniel Chapter 4:29
Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”
31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. 32 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”

After 7 years in 34 see the new King
34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.
His dominion is an eternal dominion;
his kingdom endures from generation to generation.
35 All the peoples of the earth
    are regarded as nothing.
He does as he pleases
    with the powers of heaven
and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back his hand
or say to him: “What have you done?”

If you are surrounded by good times, Praise the Lord. If you are in the middle of a battle, Praise the Lord. Appreciate anything that makes you remember to lean on God because in your weakness he is strong. When you lean on him in your weakness you do not loose. Instead you achieve the greatest results because you allow him take over completely i.e. in the end, you will still come out like Gold. You will be Victorious, but you will know for a certainty that “ you made it because God was on your side. It will occur to you that even your strengths are not your doing. They are gifts from God.

God is not intimidated by our success, he is not angry with it. He is the one that gives us good success. James 1: 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

He wants us to succeed in this life but he is also making sure that our success is not wasted because we end up rebelling against him. Nebuchadnezzar’s story ends beautifully
36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

Can you see the difference? God didn’t leave him in a pit, God wasn’t victimizing him. God was NOT  upset that he achieved great things, it was God who helped him achieve those great things. Nebuchadnezzar still has the glory of his kingdom but now he KNOWS that the glory was given to him and he remains humble and thankful to God. Preserving him to be able to receive his crown at the end of this life.

Guard your heart with all diligence. Be encouraged.

God Bless

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Daniel 1:20 “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
    wisdom and power are his.
21 He changes times and seasons;

he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
    and knowledge to the discerning.
22 He reveals deep and hidden things;

he knows what lies in darkness,
    and light dwells with him.
Holy spirit, I thank you. I cannot live without you. Lead me in prayer, lead me through my life, help me through the good and the bad time and show me that God is God in all circumstances. May this word I read today not make me stand by and watch the devil tear me apart. Instead let it encourage me to Stand on your word and receive my victory knowing that the process of leaning on you in my weakness and in the things I cannot do for myself will give me access to your strength.

Make it untrue

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,[a] in faith, in purity.

The things we say are one thing, but what about the things we prove? This will help elaborate what I mean.
ALL men are liars!
ALL girls are pretenders!
Marriage is sweet!
You can't trust ANYBODY!
People will ALWAYS stab you in the back to move forward!
Love is a nightmare!
Waiting on God is ALWAYS worth it!

So many general assumptions about 'life and people' exsist (positive and negative).
and they are usually based on peoples experiences with others
and many decisions are made based on them.
And I began to wonder,
Which of them does an encounter with me proove right?
Which of them does my life style proove wrong?
What do I testify to?
What is my life proof of?

Am I proof that,
Friends can be depended on?
That NOT everybody is a liar?
That Waiting on God is always worth it?
or am I proof of other things?
Do my actions proove that people can be trusted?

My friends lets ask ourselves,
Does knowing me help someone believe or doubt?
Do I add to the credibility of negative assumptions?
do I proove that NOT EVERYBODY does 'it' (What ever it may be)?
What are you a testimonial to?

We may not be able to change what 'everybody' does
But who we are can change what 'someone' believes.

When we propagate negative 'General Assumptions' we create a reality that proves us right. When we live a life that shows the world the opposite, we create a positive reality for ourselves and others to experience. Being a good example is a responsibility we owe not just ourselves but our maker.

The spirit food we are to meditate on for today is this.

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
